Consultation Fee

All initial consultations require a non-refundable fee of $150, payable at the time of scheduling. This fee secures your appointment and enables us to review your matter, offer preliminary guidance, and recommend potential next steps.

Retainer Requirement

If you decide to proceed with our services following the consultation, a retainer agreement and payment are necessary before any legal document preparation, filings, or further advisory services commence.

If you engage our services within 30 days of your consultation, the consultation fee will be applied to your retainer.

Work cannot Begin Without a Retainer.

No legal documents, filings, service of process, or research will be prepared or performed until:

A formal Retainer Agreement is signed, and

The full retainer payment is received.

No Refunds.

We value your time and ours, and this policy ensures we can dedicate focused, professional attention to your matter.

Cancellation Policy

Consultations canceled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours’ notice will forfeit the consultation fee. New appointments require a new payment.

By submitting payment through our website or electronic invoice, you authorize Bay Area Paralegal and Legal Services (“we,” “us,” or “our”) to charge your selected payment method for the agreed-upon consultation fee, retainer fee, or service charges.

You acknowledge and agree:

• You are an authorized user of the payment method provided.
• You authorize charges for consultation fees, retainers, or other service fees as outlined during your booking or engagement.
• You agree to pay any applicable fees, including third-party payment processing fees if disclosed.
• Payment is required to confirm consultations and commence services.

All payments are processed securely. We do not store full payment card details on our servers.
